Combining Leofoto’s renowned carbon fibre tripod engineering with Mountain Forged’s precision shooting expertise, the Juggernaut S2 has been purpose-built for serious long-range shooters, hunters, tactical professionals, and spotting applications where rigidity and repeatability matter most.

At the core of the system is a massive 44.7mm / 40mm two-section leg design constructed from premium Toray 10-layer carbon fibre — some of the thickest and most rigid carbon fibre tripod tubes available on the market today. This oversized construction dramatically reduces flex and vibration, creating an exceptionally stable shooting platform capable of supporting rifles and optics up to 54kgs.

Unlike conventional photography tripods adapted for shooting use, the Juggernaut S2 was designed from the ground up around real-world precision rifle applications. The non-inverted 2-section leg design maximises rigidity while also enabling rapid setup and compatibility with tripod caddies for fast deployment in competitive and field environments.

The upgraded Urban Apex system provides immense structural strength while maintaining Leofoto’s signature compact footprint and quick-swap modularity. Combined with Leofoto’s patented pull-down tripod locking system, the S2 delivers an incredibly secure platform that prevents unwanted leg movement or collapse under heavy recoil and demanding shooting positions.

The included next-generation MA-40SXO Juggernaut Head has been specifically developed for precision rifle shooting applications. Featuring a larger 40mm ball design, the head provides increased locking power, greater mass, and exceptionally smooth movement for precise target acquisition and tracking. The low-profile architecture keeps the rifle closer to the apex for improved balance and reduced movement under recoil.

A newly developed Arca–Picatinny dual-rail clamping system allows rapid compatibility with both mounting standards. Fine-adjustment control for Arca rails and a dedicated Picatinny locking knob ensure secure attachment, while six additional security screws can be tightened after installation for maximum rigidity and zero movement during use.

Designed for versatility, the Juggernaut S2 also includes a removable center column for spotting and observation applications. Sharing the same 28mm diameter as the popular LQ-324C, the center column is interchangeable between systems, adding further flexibility for users running multiple Leofoto setups.

Deployment in the field is exceptionally fast thanks to the heavy-duty LN rubber twist locks. Based on Leofoto’s proven Mountain Series design first introduced in 2015, the locks require only a simple 1/4-turn operation for quick and reliable extension even under heavy loads and harsh environmental conditions.

The tripod also features Leofoto’s proven single-handed angle stop system with three selectable leg angles of 24°, 55°, and 85°, allowing shooters to quickly adapt to uneven terrain, low shooting positions, barricades, or steep hillside setups.

To further improve field performance, the Juggernaut S2 includes extra-long 5-inch steel foot spikes that can rapidly replace the standard rubber feet when operating in soft ground, mud, rocky terrain, or loose surfaces where maximum grip is essential.
